Radiology Program

September 28, 2024

Any person who applies x-rays to human beings for diagnostic purposes in a podiatrist’s office in Tennessee must be certified by the Tennessee Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners. Each person certified by the Board must biennially (every two years) complete 4 hours of radiology related continuing education. TPMA offers the 4 hours of continuing education at its annual conference each year.

The 4-hour podiatry x-ray operator continuing education program will be held on Saturday, September 28, from 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs in conjunction with the Tennessee Foot & Ankle Conference.

**Only register for this 4-hour program if you are currently certified by the Tennessee Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners as a podiatry x-ray operator and need the required 4-hours of radiology continuing education. DO NOT register for this program if you are not yet certified by the Board. If you are not certified by the Board, you will need to register for the online 6-hour radiology education and examination program outlined below. No refunds will be issued to registrants who take the wrong program.**
