Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association

For nearly 50 years, the Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association has served as a symbol of excellence in the podiatric medical specialty. The TPMA and its members are dedicated to promoting the art and science of podiatric medicine and the betterment of public health through legislative advocacy, continuing education, and community outreach. The TPMA is a not-for-profit association committed to advocating for the rights and interests of podiatric physicians and their patients throughout the state of Tennessee. As the leading voice for podiatric issues in the Tennessee legislature, the TPMA continues to advance the practice of podiatric medicine.

American Podiatric Medical Association

The American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), founded in 1912, is the parent organization of the TPMA and represents a vast majority of the estimated 15,000 podiatrists in the country. APMA is dedicated to promoting foot and ankle health, member service, and professional excellence. Looking toward the future, APMA will continue to advance the growth and stability of podiatric medicine by increasing nationwide awareness of foot and ankle health through public education and legislative advocacy.
